In 2006, I was diagnosed with renal cell
carcinoma and my right kidney was
removed.  It seemed pretty cut and dried but
in June of this year, I went for my routine
mammogram and a mass was found in my
breast.  After a biopsy, much to everyone's
surprise, it was a return of the RCC - not
breast cancer.  I have just finished much
testing and cells have been found in my
lungs and bones.  They are small areas but I
have begun infusion therapy to strengthen
my bones and have started my
chemotherapy.  Fortunately, I will be able to
take it in pill form.  Through this journal, I will
keep you informed of my progress
